Dark Funeral

A MESSAGE FROM HART D. FISHER

"Back in the beginning of 2007 there came together three unholy forces of horror and dark music to create one of the coolest adult horror films no one's ever seen. The project was a walking abortion from the start with a pair of real morons at the helm of the film. The worst part of the story is that the original director of the film pulled a massive rip off before fleeing Los Angeles. He enlisted some people in the adult industry to help him create a free weekly paper, took in thousands of dollars in ad monies for the paper, then skipped town with the money and didnt publish the paper. Luckily the producer of the film, Matt The Lord Zane, allowed me to have all of the movie footage to pull from the wreckage of that mess to use in this music video for the guys in Dark Funeral.

I hit it off with the guys in Dark Funeral backstage at the Key Club in LA during the shooting of the video. They were cool fucking dudes who were deadly serious about their satanic music and they put on one helluva fucking show. I dig Dark Funeral's music and their guts, so when I got the go ahead to take over the film and the music video from Mr. Zane I dropped the hammer down and went for it big time. I did the movie cuz they paid me too. I did the video because I fucking wanted to. I did it for the band, for the fans and for the biggest outlaw in adult films, Rob Black.

I premiered the video on the www.boneyardpress.net site for Halloween of 07 and then put it up on my youtube channel (www.youtube.com/crimepayshart) where it promptly became my most popular clip and a video that helped me land multiple directing and editing jobs. Hell, the video was so popular it was instrumental in landing Dark Funeral a rare slot on youtubes push list for their new video My Funeral. I was happy that the guys had a major corporation pushing their video, unfortunately youtube decided my video was drawing heat away from their ad drive. After three years and almost 100,000 plays youtube decided to ban my video for Attera Totus Sanctus.

Thanks to the fine folks at youtube that video is now exclusively online here at AmericanHorrors.com.

So kick back, turn the lights down real low. Enjoy this little piece of pain I mastered out from hell and chaos to forge something that bleeds..."

Fisher, has announced the latest addition to the American Horrors staff of creators, controversial web content developer and political activist Rob Taylor! Starting July 24th Mr. Taylor will be covering the occult crime beat for the American Horrors website at www.americanhorrors.com.

“American Horrors provides a fantastic venue for writers who understand that the world isn't always politically correct.” Said Mr. Taylor from his compound in South Carolina. “Hart Fisher has always taken risks and doesn't allow convention to dictate what he puts out there for people. With American Horrors, there's finally a publication that doesn't have crime and the occult covered by so-called ‘experts’ who make a living spreading their hokum. I'm looking forward to bringing some real life horror into the readers lives.”

Rob Taylor is the controversial webmaster of Red Alerts and Greenville Dragnet and is godfather of the Conservative Pagan movement. After leaving the academic world where he received a degree in Comparative Religion and a Master of Liberal Arts from Wesleyan University, he began his career as a web content developer and political activist. He gained notoriety for his coverage of crime in the Neo-pagan and occult communities and resisting the pressure to be politically correct. He is a recent transplant to South Carolina by way of New York City, or as he calls it "the sinking ship."

“From murderous Juggalos to voodoo rapists to Wiccan child molesters,” Said Mr. Fisher. “Rob Taylor brings you to the weird side of crime. His articles are well investigated, disturbing, and exactly the kind of reportage we’re looking to bring to the horror industry. Keep your eyes on Rob, he’s going to be making some serious waves in occult crime.”

THE BOONE BROTHERS JOIN AMERICAN HORRORS!

HOSTS OF HIT DVD SERIES BRAWLIN’ BROADS, GUEST STARS OF HBO’S CATHOUSE AND BLACK DEVIL DOLL TACKLE THE HORROR!

LOS ANGELES, CA -American Horrors CEO and The Garbage Man writer/director, Hart D. Fisher, has announced the latest additions to the American Horrors line up, infamous hosts Martin & Mitchell Boone, of the hit DVD series “Brawlin’ Broads” and the #1 podcast in the world, The Boone Brothers Show! As legendary shock jocks and guest stars in HBO’s “Cathouse” and the feature film, Black Devil Doll, Mitchell and Martin Boone bring a unique perspective to American Horrors and the genre.

“Having been fans of Hart Fisher's work over the years and knowing his die-hard commitment to underground entertainment and all things depraved,” said Mitchell Boone "all it took was meeting the man in the flesh, sharing a brew (or twenty) and hearing his ideas on 'American Horrors' to know that this was going to be a perfect fit. The proverbial "Match Made in Hell". We're happier than a herd of crabs at a whorehouse to sink our teeth into this series, and bring our special brand of cringe-inducing humor to the table.”

Originally hosting their own nationally syndicated radio talk show, 100 Proof, The Boone Brothers have been banned from Wondercon, Comicon and even Ozzfest. Look for The Boones to do segments on the worlds bloodiest apparel company, Rotten Cotton, and cover the most insane bands, horror events and outrageous mayhem around the USA.

“I love these guys. From the first night I met them on the Angry White Male tour, I knew we had to be working together.” Said Mr. Fisher. “If you haven’t seen Brawlin’ Broads or Black Devil Doll, you need to. These guys push boundaries without being stupid about it. They’re going to add a whole new dimension to American Horrors and it’s programming.”

American Horrors Poems for the Dead by Hart D. Fisher

HORROR CREATOR HART D. FISHER MEETS THE VERMINATORS ON THE DISCOVERY CHANNEL!

DISCOVERY CHANNELS’ ELITE TEAM OF PEST BUSTERS CONFRONTS THE HORROR DIRECTORS’ WORST FEAR- RATS!

LOS ANGELES, CA- Horror show host and The Garbage Man writer/director, Hart D. Fisher, went head to head with his worst fear, fighting a rat & black widow spider infestation in his Los Angeles home, and had to call in the cavalry- The Discovery Channel’s elite group of pest busters, The Verminators.  When ISOTECH expert Gary gets the call from the horror film director with a fear of rats, he discovers the real scare is the threat the rodents pose to the health of his wife, who is recovering from cervical cancer.

“We had rats in the trees, in our attic, under the house, it was driving me nuts, it was driving my wife nuts, and when things start to bother my wife, the kid gloves come off.” said American Horrors host, Hart D. Fisher "I may live and breath horror movies, but when you find a black widow spider crawling across your big toe in the bath tub and you’ve got rats staring at you through the window, it’s time to call in the professionals. The guys from Isotech, they really kicked ass on these rats & spiders.”

The Verminators “Lights! Camera! Vermin!” featuring the adventures of Isotech at Mr. Fisher’s home is currently airing on The Discovery Channel. Check your local listings for airdates and re-runs.

“They brought over a bug wrangler and a couple BOXES of black widows. It was not easy holding still while they dangled the biggest Black Widow I’ve ever seen over my big toe with crazy glue and piano wire.” Added Mr. Fisher. “It took a lot of self control to just sit there with that big bug an inch away from my toe hanging by next to nothing but you either go big, or go home. Of course that’s the stuff that ends up on the cutting room floor, right?”

GLEN MATISOFF JOINS THE
AMERICAN HORRORS TEAM!

FILM & TELEVISION INDUSTRY VET GLEN MATISOFF COMES TO AMERICAN HORRORS AS VP OF OPERATIONS!

LOS ANGELES, CA- American Horrors CEO and The Garbage Man writer/director, Hart D. Fisher, has announced the latest entertainment industry veteran to join his corporate team, Glen Matisoff. As a seasoned veteran of the music industry, the film industry and the television industry, Glen Matisoff will be taking over as VP of Operations at American Horrors starting with bringing the television show to American airwaves, developing the Boneyard Press universe as animation properties and further developing the American Horrors brand as it’s own television network.

“Glen Matisoff was an integral part in the launch of fledgling networks FOX Family Network, SITV, and is currently working on the development of American Horrors as it’s own television channel.” said Mr. Fisher "This is a guy who’s always risen to the top of whatever field he’s chosen to work in, a guy who’s worked with all the major networks, all the major film companies, he’s a bull, and now he’s charging down the field for American Horrors.”

Starting his 30 plus year career in the entertainment industry as a musician touring with acts like Captain & Tenille, Juice Newton and Michelle Shocked, Glen Matisoff soon transitioned into a career as a multiple award (Emmy, Cable Ace, Monitor) nominated recording engineer who’s worked with such legendary acts as Fleetwood Mac, Ray Charles, Ronnie James Dio, Survivor, REO Speedwagon, Fishbone, Jeffrey Osborne, Thompson Twins, Bruce Hornsby & The Range, Jackie Deshannon. Not content with his successes in the music business, Mr. Matisoff transitioned into film and television when he was named the head of The Post Office Broadcast Service, a full service post-production facility in Los Angeles.

As CEO of The Post Office Broadcast Service Mr. Matisoff was directly responsible for generating over 13 million dollars in revenues for the company and began his many long term business relationships with all of the major networks and film studios, including but not limited to CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, A&E, HGTV, HBO, Disney, Warner Brothers, MGM Entertainment, Dreamworks, Paramount, Discovery Channel, TLC, and The USA Network.

“In today’s entertainment market you constantly have to be out in front of the ball, on top of what’s going to happen next and what’s next is American Horrors. American Horrors is the future of horror.” Said Mr. Matisoff. “I am honored to be a part of this innovative new start up. American Horrors and Hart Fisher are going to go far.”

LIVE EVIL BRINGS NEW BLOOD TO AMERICAN HORRORS TELEVISION PROGRAMMING!

DISTURBING NEW VISION OF VAMPIRES COMING TO HART D. FISHER'S INTERNATIONALLY SYNDICATED HORROR SHOW, AMERICAN HORRORS

Live Evil on Hart D. Fisher's American Horrors

LOS ANGELES, CA- Crime Pays, Inc. founder and president, Hart D. Fisher, has announced the latest addition to his American Horrors slate of television programming with the addition of Live Evil, the critically acclaimed, controversial new vision of vampire horror from writer/director Jay Woelfel and producer Mark Terry. Live Evil presents a disturbing new take on the classic horror archetype, with a pack of vampires roaming America’s back roads and badlands to find “pure blood” untainted by the ills of modern society. On opposite ends of the bloodsuckers’ struggle are two genre icons: Tim Thomerson (the Trancers series, Near Dark, Dollman) as the sword-slinging Priest, and Ken Foree (Dawn of the Dead, The Devil’s Rejects, Rob Zombie’s Halloween) as a “pusher” of stolen blood to a vampiric clientele.

"American Horrors and Hart Fisher are a perfect match for Live Evil.  Hart understands the importance of our American genre stars like Tim Thomerson and Ken Foree.” said producer, Mark Terry.  “Yet at the same time our baby vampire scene seems like it would be something controversial enough that I would read in one of his comics.”

Live Evil’s unflinching, visceral updating of a legendary evil taps perfectly into the vein of Hart D. Fisher’s Real World Horror Revolution, and is a powerful new addition to the American Horrors brand of bleeding-edge independent horror programming.

Offers Fangoira Magazine’s Michael Gingold “Fango can attest that it [Live Evil] contains plenty of blood, skin, grisly makeup FX and violent action.”

American Horrors began as a 2 hour television show syndicated through out Europe and Scandinavia by The Global Broadcasting Company, and in partnership with Indie Pictures has grown to be a major emerging distributor of Feature horror films, forging innovative partnerships with metal record powerhouses Nuclear Blast Records and Evilive Records.

MUSIC & COMICS VET GARY GUZZO JOINS
AMERICAN HORRORS

LOS ANGELES, CA- American Horrors CEO and The Garbage Man writer/director, Hart D. Fisher, has announced the latest addition to his team, Gary Guzzo. As a seasoned veteran of the both the comics industry and the music industry, Gary Guzzo will be taking over as VP of Marketing and Publicity at American Horrors starting with a revamp of the American Horrors website.

“Gary brings a wealth of marketing experience and industry contacts you just can’t buy, it’s something you have to live & breath.” said Mr. Fisher "This is a man who knows how to innovate and take things to a higher level. He and his wife Dawn are serious additions to the American Horrors team. These are exactly the kind of people I want to have handling my vision.”

As a music industry vet, Gary Guzzo started his career as a sound man, then quickly becoming a successful concert promoter. Gary moved up to running his own tradeshow staging company, International Video, before selling it in 1992 to begin working in his favorite childhood medium, comic books. For his first foray in the genre, Gary Guzzo put together a relief program for victims of Hurricane Andrew with Marvel Comics. It was during his tenure at Marvel Comics that Gary first came into contact with the work of Hart D. Fisher, at the time the evil anti-christ of comics and Boneyard Press.

“During my tenure at Marvel I gravitated to the more independent creators, both within and outside of the company.” Said Gary. “Hanging at shows with Larry Welz, Mark Bode or Hart Fisher was more the norm than going to the Iron Man party. For me, that was where the action was.”

With several years working at Marvel Comics under his belt (straightening out their relationships with the fan press and retailers), Mr. Guzzo would go on to work as a consultant for Lorne Michael’s Broadway Comics and then Steve Massarsky’s Acclaim Comics.

When asked about the recent sale of Marvel Comics to Disney Mr. Guzzo said:

“What do I think about Disney buying Marvel? Hell, I’m going to go work for Hart Fisher at American Horrors!"

"Keep your eyes close to American Horrors over the next couple of months," continued Guzzo. "If you think you know horror, you are in for a surprise. If you think you've been scared, you are dead wrong. If you think you've heard Death Metal, you better clean out your ears....and if you see something out of the corner of your eye, worry...because Hart Fisher is coming and chances are he's standing right in back of you! Sally Jesse? Are you rolling over in your grave yet?”

PHILLIP NUTMAN SPILLS BLOOD ACROSS AMERICA!

WET WORK HORROR AUTHOR & FANGORIA SCRIBE PHILLIP NUTMAN TOURS THE USA SUPPORTING CITIES OF NIGHT!

LOS ANGELES, CA - Screenwriter (JACK KETCHUM’S THE GIRL NEXT DOOR), novelist (the acclaimed, best selling WET WORK, the forthcoming FULL THROTTLE), comic book scribe/editor, and FANGORIA magazine’s original British Correspondent, Phillip Nutman has been brining horrors, real and imagined, to avid readers around the world for close to 30 years. And now he’s taking his show on the road to promote CITIES OF NIGHT with what he calls the “Hard Night’s Day Global Tour” which kicked off at the sold out World Horror Convention in Brighton, England at the end of March this year.

“The first part of the tour is done,” Nutman said from his home base in Atlanta, Georgia. “Brighton was a blast; the official US debut at Eagle Eye Books here in Decatur was a great success, and The Dark Carnivale of Lost Souls at the Alcove Art Gallery was a riot – over 100 friends and Faithful Readers, movin’ and a groovin’ to burlesque performances by Talloolah Love and Melanie Magnifique, astounding magic by Chad Sandborn, and the lush electronica of Fader Vixen: no one throws a book launch party like this!” Nutman laughs. “But it couldn’t have happened without the support and encouragement of Chris & Sherri Warner of Alcove, Chef Anthony Pittelli of Café Lily, who provided scrumptious catering, or the terrific performers who agreed to be a part of The Dark Carnivale.”

The second leg of the Hard Night’s Day tour kicks off at the sold out Necon XXX in mid July, and will be followed by independent bookstore signings around the south east US in August. “Details are currently being worked out,” Nutman adds. “Check my Web site for info on a weekly basis because even I don’t know where I’ll be in August.”

The acclaimed writer will be at Dragon*Con in Atlanta over Labor Day weekend and a guest at Spooky Empire’s Weekend of Horrors in Orlando, FL, mid October. “I’ve been a Nutman fan since Wet Work,” said Hart D. Fisher "Cities of Night is more debauched horror fun from a guy who’s been walkin’ the walk for nearly 30 years. Go out there, get his book, get an autograph and try not to get bit.”

– Scott Jason, Nashville, TN (6/13/2010)

Verve comes in two perfect delivery systems: Verve Energy Drink or Verve Energy Shot.

“Verve and American Horrors, a match made in heaven! American Horrors is fresh and innovative, just like Verve and we’re thrilled to be sponsoring American Horrors,” says Debbie Reeder, VSupport Team, top Vemma distributor.

Founded by BK Boreyko and his family, Vemma's parent company, New Vision®, is a revolutionary leader in health and wellness. Boneyard Press Back from the Dead

THE DISTURBING TRUE STORY OF THE MURDER BEHIND THE GARBAGE MAN AT THE UNIVERSITY
OF ILLINOIS...

When best selling true crime author Corey Mitchell sent Michelle McKee, the editor of his #1 True Crime site (In Cold Blog), out looking for a 1st Amendment champion that pulled no punches, she got all of that and more in horror creator Hart D. Fisher. What has come forth from this union has been a heart wrenching tale of rape, murder and utter mayhem, a story of a marked man and his nearly decade long secret battle to keep a killer behind bars. If Mr. Fisher had deep scars to hide from the public, they are all revealed here in a riveting series of articles published once a month at In Cold Blog (http://incoldblogger.blogspot.com).

“While he defended his rights in front of a national audience Hart Fisher was suffering in his own private Hell.” Offers Michelle McKee, “Fisher was not only defending his right to publish material that the family members of Jeffrey Dahmer’s victims found objectionable, he was also attending a murder trial [as a major witness].”

While Mr. Fisher’s work through his controversial publishing house, Boneyard Press, was being lynched in the mainstream media on shows like The Jerry Springer Show, Entertainment Tonight, and A Current Affair, his personal life was a warzone filled with death threats, violence, rape and robbery, but the worst was yet to come. Seven days into shooting his first feature film, The Garbage Man, Mr. Fisher suffered a loss that would break him utterly, the brutal rape and murder of his first love and live-in girlfriend, Michelle Davis, during a horrific motel robbery.

Mr. Fisher was a key witness in the 3 separate trials of Eric Daniels, the murderer of his love. Each trial more brutal, more gut twisting than the last, with fistfights in the jury room, a murderer nearly set free, a prison guard stabbed in the face, all secrets Mr. Fisher kept from the public while he fought for his 1st amendment freedoms at every turn.

For the first time ever, the riveting author of Poems for the Dead writes about this and much more. If you thought you knew Hart D. Fisher, think again.
Here are links and excerpts from Hart Fisher’s riveting true account of the murder and madness that went on behind the set of his first feature film, The Garbage Man:

“Her grandmother was telling people in Dallas, where she had went to high school, that I’d filmed her murder for my movie The Garbage Man. A few weeks earlier I was sitting at Grandma’s kitchen table, drinking her lemonade, laughing. Now I couldn’t believe what she was saying about me.”

“Without thinking, I pushed the cassette in. My ears burned. Listening to it hurt. At one point I had to pull over to the side of the road. My hands trembled. I put my head down on the wheel. At home I knew there was mail to sort, dogs to feed, and death threat messages to delete.”

“San Diego is surreal. I’m a mess. Home is worse.
I know her killer is locked up somewhere in town. I want him like I’ve never wanted anything in my life before. I want to feel him breaking under my knuckles. I want to bathe in his screams. I want to bruise his soul. The brutality of this need pushes…
I’m hanging on as hard as I can but I’ve spun out way over the edge.”

“Now Daniels was telling folks that he had a relationship with Michelle. The press was all over it. Black male assailant, pretty white girl, yeah they loved this goddamn story, ran it right into the ground. The police needed me to testify as to Michelle’s physical condition before she went to work. They needed me to testify on the witness stand about our sex life. They wanted to know if Michelle liked to be hit, if I had hit her, if we had rough sex.”

“She was crying, his fist was angry, so goddamn angry, yelling at her. She had her hands up, her head ducked down, trying to hide from those fists. I watched the fist coming down again and again while he spun her around with his grip on her t-shirt. I could see the tears on her face in the street light, the pain of the blows.

I knew about pain. I knew about fists.”

“I’m going to kill him. I’m going to kill him in the center of the courtroom, with my bare goddamn hands. No one will stop me. The courtroom is small. HE’ll be too close. I think of it. I think of him. I hear he doesn’t like it in his cage… it’s supposed to make me feel better, them telling me that…
It doesn't."

CONTROVERSIAL 1ST AMENDMENT WARRIOR,
HART D. FISHER, JOINS LEADING TRUE CRIME SITE,
IN COLD BLOG

LOS ANGELES, CA — In Cold Blog (ICB), founded by Los Angeles Times and Borders International best selling author Corey Mitchell, is the Internet’s leading true crime blog. With several contributing writers that cover the gamut from Pulitzer Prize nominees, award winning journalists and authors, criminal justice and medical professionals, victim’s rights advocates and even family members of the victim of a serial killer, In Cold Blog has been providing a unique voice to issues involving crime and justice since June 2007.

When In Cold Blog’’s editor, Michelle McKee, went looking for someone to represent the voice of America’s freedom of speech, censorship, morality gone wrong, exploitation, and the removal of one’s Constitutional guarantee of freedom, she looked no further than the notorious publisher of Boneyard Press, Hart D. Fisher.

Fisher’s opinions on serial killers and serial killer culture have been sought by numerous television producers for programs such as ABC's DayOne, CNN's Murder By Numbers, Entertainment Tonight, Larry King Live, The Jerry Springer Show, CNN Headline News, A&E's Biography, and in magazines such as Time, Tattoo Savage, Hero Illustrated, People, The Comics Journal, and the non-fiction best seller The A-Z Guide to Serial Killers, to name only a few.

An individual who takes his work to the extreme, Fisher pushes the envelope on the boundaries of freedom of expression beyond that which many are comfortable with. His work has been banned and pulled from shelves and his books have been destroyed by the distribution house itself.

With credits dotting his portfolio that include the production of indie horror films, the creation of serial killer comic books, the production of pornography, horror porn to be specific, as well as critically acclaimed poetry, Hart D. Fisher has been called one of the "100 Most Important People In The Comics Industry" by Hero Illustrated. He has also been one of the most universally despised individuals to have ever set foot in adult theme comics, let alone within in the crime genre itself. As the controversial publisher behind Boneyard Press, Fisher created Jeffrey Dahmer: An Unauthorized Biography of a Serial Killer, A comic book that started a firestorm which brought death threats, stalkers, lawsuits, protest marches, including a threatened KKK protest march on his home in Illinois, a SWAT team to his door, and a request by the local police to leave town.

As managing editor of Glenn Danzig’s publishing company Verotik, Fisher created a comic book murder story, Verotika #4, “A Taste of Cherry,” that was considered to be so offensive and obscene it shut down Planet Comics in Oklahoma City in the early 90’s and the work was banned. It is still banned in that state today.

Even OJ Simpson has sued Fisher for his satirical portrayal in Boneyard Press’ comic book creations.

Hart Fisher produces the type of material that members of the morality police generally object to. His work is considered by some to be vile and offensive, and it is exactly the type of unpopular speech that is at the forefront of assaults by the so called moral majority against our Constitutional liberties. It is the type of material that is typically blamed for various public ills and criminal activity; after all, we've all heard what the Uptight Ninny Brigade has to say about sex crimes, metal music and video games.

Fisher couldn't be a more appropriate voice representing freedom of expression, and the shredding of the Untied States Constitution. Hart D. Fisher has fought for his right as an American citizen to exercise his freedom of speech – and he has lost.
